Passover Service

In Genesis, the celebration of Passover, mandated by Jehovah-God, culminated for the Hebrews in the partaking of lamb, unleavened bread and bitter herbs.  This memorial meal included putting the blood of lambs on doorposts so that the angel of death would pass by.

The elements of Passover commemorate the blood of Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice.  He is the Lamb of God, remitting our sins and empowering us to keep His law by the power of His poured out Holy Spirit.

Join us for our Passover Service in April.  It is a solemn assembly that will lead you to re-examine your devotion to the Lord of All.
About Easter

The Easter holiday is a pagan, Roman festival having no root in Christ Jesus.  A brief internet search will reveal the history of the holiday as born out of homage to fertility idols (i.e. eggs, rabbits, etc.).

In addition, Easter is mentioned once in the Bible as a celebration that takes place after the Passover, having no relation to Israelite history or to the crucifixion of the Lord.

At this season, Kingdom of Life memorializes the sacrifice of the Lamb of God - His gift of salvation given through suffering - by observing the Hebrew Passover.

The Passover (Hebrew) and Easter (Roman) were celebrations held by different cultures during the same season.  The rise of the Roman church led to the aggressive blending of Christian and pagan belief systems in order to pacify the appetite of religious folks for compromise.  Kingdom of Life does not engage in the celebration of Easter.
Passover Service

Our Passover Service includes prayer, worship, exhortation by our Pastor, communion and a wonderful Passover meal.  All people are welcome to worship with us.

A Letter from Pastor Wilson

"People of God's Kingdom,

We have come together to commemorate, not just the crucifixion of our Lord, Christ Jesus, but to memorialize the application of His shed blood to our lives; and, because of that, we also memorialize our deliverance from the death angel.

You have been saved from many things; and God has made possible for you eternal life by the covenant of the Holy Ghost.  There is no death angel or mandate of death among the blood-bought obedient!  Our purpose tonight is to remember that we are in need of him and forever will be.  He is the One who saved us; and we owe Him a debt of gratitude.

Join with me by bringing up all of our praise and offering it to the Lord this evening.  I expect the Lord to reveal Himself in this place, as the fragrance of your appreciation fills this house of prayer!  Your offering is an individual one.  The passover over is an individual one.  Tonight as Gode's judgement passes by each of us, again, because of the blood, we will rejoice for one another, in Jesus' name!

Remembering that He passed over,
Prophet & Senior Pastor Derrick Wilson, Sr."
