Studying the Word of God

by Prophetess Telhare'sha

A total understanding of the Word of God ensures that we are not deceived by the many religions disguised as Christianity.  When men and women stand before us to preach, we should know if they are speaking according to the Bible.   While leaders are accountable to God for leading and misleading people, we are each responsible for our own salvation.

The Bible instructs us to search out our own salvation with fear and trembling.  We cannot obey this command, if we do not know, recognize or understand the Word of God.

Though we've come to take it lightly, it is a major concern that "ministers of the Gospel" make jokes, tell stories and "motivate", as they stand in church pulpits.  Israel so respected the Word of God that, when the Bible was opened, the entire nation stood to its feet, without the priest saying a word.  Today, we open the book and fall asleep on it, make jokes, give analogies and revise it, to ease our studying and lighten its impact.

God is calling His people back to reverence of the Scriptures.  As we've seen a compromising or watering-down of the Bible, we've seen a decrease in morality among "christians."  The Scriptures are holy.  The God who gave them is holy.  We honor Him with this website page and articles to help you understand His Word.
