Kingdom of Life Church
Kingdom Kinsmen
Men's Ministry
"A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children . . ." Proverbs 13:22 |
Kingdom of Life's Kingdom Kinsmen walk in authority, never failing to redeem their families!
Service is held Wednesdays at 7:30 PM.
We are certain you'll appreciate that this ministry is not just a specialized Bible study class. There is specific instruction on applying the priesthood - restoring the order, maintaining the family bond and utilizing the family as a tool to impact the world. Kingdom Kinsmen are strategically active in the community.
Men are the God-ordained leaders and providers for the home, church and workplace. As Kingdom Kinsmen, we are returning to our proper places in the Kingdom of God and in society -
Exemplifying respect & obedience to sons, nephews, fathers, grandfathers & uncles
Showing daughters, sisters, mothers, grandmothers & aunts that holiness is acceptable
Securing wives with love, peace and consistency
Guiding and stewarding households according to the will of God
Demonstrating self-control, regarding anger and sexuality
Evangelizing communities and
Taking leadership roles in society
Our men's ministry has two powerhouses:
Boaz
("Strength" for young men)
&
Jachin
("Established" for elders)
BOAZ - (“Strength” for young men)
Young Kingdom Kinsmen receive strength through mentoring; leadership opportunities within the church; jobs and internships from our business owners and wise counsel to avoid personal pitfalls. BOAZ requires that young men behave respectfully toward women and girls; understand their authority in the world; set goals and set upon clear path toward achieving them.
JACHIN - (“Established” for elders)
Elder Kingdom Kinsmen provide the guidance our young men need. They also receive strength by discussing the Word of God with experienced men, whose faith and maturity have been established by fire through victory! Elders present a united front to every man who’s watching, by living lives that do not bring ill-repute upon the church. JACHIN (pronounced yah-kin) requires that elders are peacemakers, teachers at home, youth mentors and ministers to men the imprisoned.
