Dear Membership Candidate,
joining a church is a very serious decision, affecting the spiritual lives and, ultimately, the eternity of yourself, your family and your friends. I am prayerful and humbled, knowing that your decision to join our work is also a decision to allow me to pastor you and your family. I do so with meekness and daily accountability to the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit.
As you and I pray about your decision to join the Kingdom of Life family, I ask that you consider the weighty responsibility of being a part of an apostolic ministry whose goal is to "work while it is day." The people of God are the church and members of the worldwide Body of Christ. Kingdom of Life is the gathering of a portion of these anointed ones for the purpose of distributing the mind of God, first locally, then internationally. We are not a gathering of the disobedient and lawless; but we are planted to do the will of God!
Members of Kingdom of Life have a made up mind! When you join us, you become a partner in a praying, soul-winning profession. The Lord desires that men, women and children everywhere be saved; and prayer was His primary work. In keeping with that, Kingdom of Life requires evangelism and prayer of all its members, particularly its ministers, employees and volunteers. In addition, we uphold a standard of holiness that is vital for unduplicated ministry, as we quickly approach the return of our Lord, Jesus.
Church membership is not salvation or a means of social status. When you join, you are pledging your time, finances and labor for the achievement of your family's and this congregation's spiritual goals. Membership at Kingdom of Life is an enlisting in the army of God. Pray about us; and, if God is leading you here, then we welcome you home!
