About Ayin
'Ayin is the Hebrew word meaning "the eye." We are an authentic school of prophets, adhering to doctrinal absolutes and fully engaging the prophetic office.
This bold fellowship consists of people whom God has called to be prophets. Lifetime enrollment ensures that your ancient, prophetic gift is properly subject, always accountable, sufficiently discipled and thoroughly used in the Kingdom of God. The school nurtures your mind and spirit, empowers your personal growth and incubates your personal ministry.
We instruct in
apostolic doctrine (including the Holy Spirit and its evidence of other tongues, the gift of prophesy, the gift of tongues [various tongues] and the gift of interpretation),
accountable operation of the independent office and
prophetic function (including Biblical use of spiritual gifts) in groups, in politics and in entertainment.
Why We Organized
'Ayin was organized for 3 reasons:
the Bible commands that prophets be subject to prophets (I Corinthians 14:32)
the *institutional church has ostracized, discounted and muzzled the prophet
the aggressive and erroneous teaching by pastors and apostles about and against the operation of the prophetic office silences the prophetic voice of God and broadcasts falsehood to the world
*It is important to note that organizing a non-profit organization does not make a church. A church is a congregation of "churches" - souls who are filled with the Spirit of God and led by the Spirit of God. The church has no earth-bound agenda.
A Kingdom Emergency
We saw a right now need to organize the prophets into an impenetrable fellowship, so that they were not confused, minimized or weakened.
We don't believe in silence, unless God commands it!
We are the eye of God and the eye of His Body (the Body of Christ/church). This fellowship of prophets resists the "plucking out" of our calling that has been going on for generations.
Servants of the Ancient of Days
The Office of the Prophet existed before the "church" and before any other formal "church office" was formed. We are the servants and friends of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are members of the angelic brotherhood (Revelation 22:9) and serve the Lord, not the institutional church or "incorporated," non-profit, religious organizations. Without the prophet the Body of Christ is blind. (More about the eye will be posted. Stay tuned!)
Why Prophets Are Put Out
The church is presently engaged in fear-mongering, where the people of God are oppressed and deadly afraid to "touch God's anointed." The Holy Scriptures say:
"Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm," I Chronicles 16:22 and Psalm 105:15.
Both times the Scriptures are referring to God's people, not to pastors. No individual or individual office is untouchable. David made reference to this Scripture when he had the opportunity to kill King Saul. Both of these men were the Lord's anointed and had literally been anointed with oil by Samuel, the prophet.
This Scripture is a command to not touch Israel (the people of God), yet harm is regularly done to the prophet, as pastors everywhere claim to be prophets. Generally, everyone in the Body of Christ has a responsibility to advise and correct their brothers and sisters in the Lord and through love when they see them bound by error. However, if they are afraid, then this is notice to the "church" that it is the duty of the prophet to "touch," as instructed by God. The Word of God through us is ordained to touch sin and disorder, to break and re-set bones, to re-align the Body.
Prophets. Required to live holy. Duty-bound to call out sin.
The 5-fold Ministry
The five fold ministry consists of (1) prophets, (2) apostles, (3) pastors, (4) evangelists and (5) teachers. The 5-fold ministry is not contained in one person. The falsehood is often taught by pastors in order to bar other ministers from operating within their organizations. The Bible never teaches that all ministries reside in one person, except for Jesus Christ, who is a prophet (the Fulfillment of prophetic prediction), evangelist (the dispatched Word), pastor (the Good Shepherd), apostle (the sent Son of God), teacher (the Great Physician) and the bishop of our souls.
The Difference Between a Prophet and a Psychic
All prophets are intercessors (but not all intercessors are prophets); and prophets rely solely on the voice of the Lord.
Psychics are "false prophets" who rely on their
to answer your questions or tell you about yourself. Their answers are given to manipulate and allow you to manipulate events in your life.
Prophets, on the other hand, interpret dreams, deliver messages, predict the future, rebuke, discern and answer based ONLY upon the voice of the Lord, who speaks directly and specifically to them.
The Lord speaks through us to warn the sinner, impart wisdom to the Body of Christ and instruct you, as an individual, in a manner that leads you to fulfill your purpose and meet your destiny.
Prophets do not call up prophecies at-will, as psychics who call up dreams and visions and charge you for their "service." Prophets do not prophesy for
reward (money) or
reputation (fame).
We recognize that life is ordered by God and cannot be manipulated based upon prophetic words. Prophetic proclamations are set in stone, unless (for example) the Lord instructs you to repent in order to prevent his judgment. Also, psychics are not the only "false prophets." You will find false prophets in every area of life, particularly in the church, in politics and in the music industry - wherever there is a platform.
How can you tell the difference? You will know them by the fruit (results, effects or consequences) stemming from their lives. In addition, a consistent life of prayer to God will help you to distinguish between the false and the authentic.
Prophecy Teachers
Prophecy teachers are not prophets. Prophecy teachers devote their Christian ministry to trying to figure out what Bible prophets said and determine the "seasons" of today. In other words, they formulate a timeline based upon their conclusions in order to know how close we are to the Lord's return.
"And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times and the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power," Acts 1:7.
'Ayin does not affirm the work of prophecy teachers.
